The safe use of laser technologies is of central importance in biomedical research. To ensure the highest standards in laboratory operations, Calvin Kreft and Konstantin Gramatte successfully completed further training as laser safety officers at ifw Jena | Günter Köhler Institute for Joining Technology and Materials Testing GmbH.

The intensive training provided both in-depth theoretical knowledge and practical skills to ensure the safe use of lasers in research and development. With the growing importance of laser-based processes in biomedical engineering, this qualification makes an important contribution to the further development of projects and to safety in everyday work. The in-depth and practical training provided the participants with optimal preparation for their responsible tasks.
