When light meets life: Jena shines at the Night of Biosignals.

On November 15, 2024, Jena became one of twelve venues across Germany to host the “Nacht der Biosignale” (“Night of Biosignals”). Organized by the Biosignals Committee of the Association for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies (VDE), the event offered fascinating insights into the latest developments in biosignal analysis and their application in medical research.

At this event, Prof. Dr. Iwan Schie gave an insight into “Biophotonics – A ray of hope in modern diagnostics”. The event enabled visitors to learn the basics about the use of modern imaging techniques, for example in cancer diagnosis, and to discover their potential.
