Research into the development of a multispectral unit for optical coherence tomography.

We are delighted to welcome Alberto Canestro from Italy as a new guest student to our team! As part of his master’s thesis, he is researching the development of a multispectral unit that will be integrated into an existing optical coherence tomography (OCT) system in the future.

Alberto is currently working with Zemax simulation software to model and analyze the structure of this unit. The goal of his work is to develop a precise design that expands the functionality of the existing OCT system and enables new applications in biomedical imaging.
