Research never ends! Even during leisure time, (culinary) samples are thoroughly examined.

The working group took advantage of the last warm evenings of summer and met in a colleague’s garden for a convivial barbecue. In a relaxed atmosphere, they grilled, laughed, and sat together until late into the night. In addition to colleagues, their families were also welcome, creating a particularly warm and lively atmosphere. The results of the sensory tests on the grilled food were consistently positive. The peer review of the homemade salads was also strict but fair.

With cool drinks and generously filled plates, the group looked back on their joint successes over the past few months. Toasting their achievements and sharing personal stories made the evening a special moment.

In the end, however, one thing was clear: the field of dessert research still offers great potential for innovation, and MEMS-controlled steak turning remains a project for the future.
